Parth Patel, Gandhinagar : This 21st century is the century of technology, the government of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has reached the very interior parts of the state through technology. This is the case of Balamba village in Kukarmunda taluka in the Tapi district. Where Wheelchairs, ST The bus pass and Maa card were given to the family. Balamba village, located at a distance of about 150 km from Vyara, the headquarters of Tapi district, is inhabited by tribal families who make a living by farming. Living on the banks of the river Tapi, the people here are very naive and open-minded. The life of the people here in the remote hinterland is full of hardships. Ramanbhai Wadgyabhai Vasave, his wife Manishaben Ramanbhai Vasave and their only son Hrithik live in this village. Ramanbhai’s son Hrithik has been 100 percent ‘divyang’ since childhood. For the last 3 years, his wife Manishaben was in poor health and was going to some small and big hospitals for treatment. Ramanbhai was living a very difficult life due to lack of knowledge of the government’s plans. Ramanbhai was perplexed as he had to pay for the treatment of his handicapped son and his wife. Regarding government’s help, Ramanbhai said, “We applied for the help for my son in social security department. We were waiting for the help. Meanwhile, we came to know about Gandhinagar-based C.M dashboard and after that suddenly the life of my son changed. We got wheelchair assistance from social security department for my son.”

“At the same time, we also got the backing of free bus pass for ST buses. Meanwhile, my wife Manishaben had kidney problems and we went to a private hospital in Surat for her treatment. Where the treatment cost was around Rs. 40,000. I was very worried because of the financial trouble. But I did not know that the government would help me in this matter also. In such a dire situation, I got information from Vyara’s Hospital that the government’s Maa Card scheme is being implemented at a nearby health center against a serious illness. To take advantage of which, we provided all the documents and now today we are having Maa card with us. With this help of Maa card, I didn’t pay single penny for the treatment of my wife.” Ramanbhai accepted that, “Indeed, the government came to the aid of our poor family and helped us at the right time for which we are thankful to the government and CM dashboard and CM Vijay Rupani.”
