Kurukshetra : Farmers will prosper by adopting organic farming. Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat has achieved excellent results through successful experiments in natural agriculture in 200 acres of land in Gurukul Kurukshetra. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and a delegation visited the farm on the invitation of the Governor for direct demonstration of natural agriculture farm of Gurukul Kurukshetra. Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar was also present on this occasion. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar held a discussion in the presence of Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat at Gurukul Kurukshetra to bring natural farming to the people. Governor Acharya Devvrat said on this occasion that by adopting natural farming, farmers and agriculture will become prosperous. He considered the natural farming method as a strong alternative to get rid of the bad effects of chemical farming and said that the farmers of Gujarat will become a source of inspiration for the farmers of the entire country in the field of natural farming.

The Governor called organic farming essential for the prosperity of farmers and agriculture. During this visit, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and the delegation visited the natural farming farm spread over 200 acres of land at Gurukul Kurukshetra and directly observed the natural farming taking place here. The Governor gave detailed information about the natural farming system to the dignitaries present and said that sufficient production can be obtained with less agricultural cost through natural farming system. The Chief Minister and dignitaries of the delegation were impressed by the natural farming model of Gurukul Kurukshetra. State Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister K. Kailasanathan, State Chief Secretary Pankaj kumar and Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture Department Mukesh Puri also joined. On this occasion Haryana State Agriculture Minister J. P. Dalal and Energy Minister Ranjit Singh Choutala were also present.
