Gandhinagar : Joint conference of collectors and District Development Officers was held in Gandhinagar under the chairmanship of chief minister Vijay Rupani. In this conference, the Chief Minister said that the situation of Corona in Gujarat has eased and the number of cases is decreasing day by day. It has been decided to hold today’s meeting with the objective of taking Gujarat in the next direction through collective thinking. We are all entrusted with different responsibilities based on the fact that we are all committed to democracy. We want to make people’s dreams come true together. “We all have to work together to make democracy stronger,” he said. As the 70 years of independence come to an end, the youth of the country have high expectations from us. The Chief Minister said that the work that you do in all the fields is established by the government, the image branding of the government becomes stronger than that. The government makes many policy decisions but the people are affected by the fact that you are responsible for their implementation. The realization of good governance is based on these works and that is why it is very important for the field officers to become pro-active. The good and bad impression of the government is on the work of the field officers.

In this Joint Conference, CM emphasized one point that, “My government works on the four pillars of transparency, sensitivity, decisiveness and progress,” he said. With these four pillars at the center, you all need to work in the field, as a result of which the people will be able to experience good governance in the field. At present, small and good things are reaching the people of interior areas very fast through media and social media. Earlier this type of technology did not exist so the news did not reach the people so fast at that time there was a limit to the media but today we have to work between all these media. In such circumstances, it is imperative that the public works we do reach the people. We have to become more sensitive and do public welfare work. He said that we have to work aggressively towards meeting 100 per cent development criteria in all districts, big and small. Performance is determined on the basis of technology and on its basis good and best officer is identified. In this new team, everyone has been given the responsibility of the district according to their ability. All works are for the benefit of the people, so we have to work with the understanding that they are works of God. The Chief Minister said that God has entrusted us with the responsibility of fulfilling many public works such as providing clean drinking water, making Gujarat free of corona through vaccination. It is very important that all of you become partners in this service work, no work is small or big. Even in a small district, your ability will be transmitted only if 100% of the work is completed.
