Mumbai : Play off will now have these five teams in IPL 2024. IPL 2024 is grabbing eye balls of cricket enthusiasts as these six teams have made their position in Play off. In last match between Gujarat and Kolkatta, the match had been called off due to heavy rain in Ahmedabad and because of that Gujarat team is eliminated from the list of Play off.
KKR has already secured its place in the top position while in the current situation Rajasthan is also close to reaching the playoffs. In such a situation, now there is a competition between CSK, Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super giants for the remaining positions. There is a match between Delhi and Lucknow on Tuesday and the team that wins will remain in the race for the playoffs, while the doors for the losing team will be almost closed.
CSK will now be facing RCB in upcoming match. If CSK is successful in registering victory in this match, then the doors of playoff will open for them, whereas in case of loss, CSK will also have to depend on the results of other teams. Gujarat team has become the third team to be out of the playoffs of the current season. Before this, the journey of Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings has also stopped in the group stage of IPL 2024. Gujarat currently has 11 points from 13 matches and the team’s next match is against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
