The Governor of Gujarat Acharya Devvrat was present at the ‘National Sanskrit Shastrarth and Scholars honor ceremony’ organized on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of 75 years of Sri Swaminarayan Gurukul Rajkot Sansthan at Neelkanthdham-Poicha in Narmada district. On this occasion, Governor also worshiped Gaumata (Cow) and inaugurated the shrine at Nilakanthadham. Governor Acharya Devvrat while describing the glory of Sanskrit language said that Sanskrit is the mother of all languages. Sanskrit is the most ancient and divine language of the world. No language is more perfect than Sanskrit. Congratulated the saints for holding the National Sanskrit Sastrartha Samaroh in the courtyard of Nilakanthadham. Governor said that the Vedas are the official knowledge of creation given by God. When creation was created, when humans were born, four sages named Agni, Vayu, Aditya and Angira were also mentioned. These rishis were superior to humans as they incarnated on creation after crossing the path of salvation, who composed the Vedas. The path of the Vedas is the path of unity. This knowledge went beyond the sage-disciple tradition and reached the entire creation. Governor glorified God and added that God is the subtle form of Sat Chitta and Ananda. He is all-pervading, eternal and immanent. In the Guru-shishya tradition, the divine resides. Even today, the glory of Guru-sishya is unparalleled. Describing the glory of knowledge, he said that without teaching, human beings cannot learn anything. Guru, parents, people of society and other surrounding creation are like gurus who teach human to live life. The Governor said that the saints of Swaminarayan have kept alive the tradition of Gurukul. Swaminarayan’s organizations are creating high morals among the citizens along with patriotism along with de-addiction of the youth, water conservation, cow mother breeding. Ascetic life is the greatest ideal in these institutions. The Governor expressed the view that the society and nation will progress if there is unity of ideas along with organization, love and community in the world. Stating the importance of natural farming, the Governor said that with this farming, the health of the people is also maintained along with the preservation of the mother earth, care and protection of native cows. He gave details that the saints of Swaminarayan are also contributing in the work of natural farming.

On this occasion, Dharmavallabhadasji Swami, the founder of Nilakanthadham, said that it is the scripture that should follow the human and the nation. National Sanskrit Sastrarth has been organized on the occasion of Amrit Mohotsav, which is being celebrated on the occasion of 75 years of establishment of Rajkot Gurukul. In which Sanskrit Pandits, scholars of Vishwa Vidhalaya, scholars are present from all over India. He gave the details that good citizens are being recruited through Gurukul. On the occasion of the two-day National Sanskrit Sastrarth at Nilakanthadham, the governor honored the chancellors, vidras and scholars of Sanskrit universities from all over the country with shields.
