Gandhinagar : State Focus Paper – 2022-23 released by CM Bhupendra Patel. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today released State Focus Paper outlining the overall annual lending potential for the year 2022-23 by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Relevant departments of state government, banks and other stakeholders were consulted in preparing this focus paper on the overall annual lending potential assessed by NABARD for 33 districts of the state. On the occasion Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel, Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, Minister of State for Co-operation Jagdish Vishwakarma, Minister of State for Agriculture Mukesh Patel joined CM. State lending potential for the year 2022-23 is projected by NABARD to be Rs 2.48 lakh crore, of which Rs 1.13 lakh crore is for agriculture and allied sectors, Rs 1.09 lakh crore for MSME sector and Rs. 26255 crore for other priority sectors. CM appreciated NABARD’s efforts in preparing this document in detail which is shaping the development of priority sector credit in the state. Chief General Manager of NABARD Dr. Gyanendra Mani said that this focus papersbe the basis for the annual credit plan prepared by the banks.In addition, the document also publishes suggestions for realizing regional issues and development prospects. Additional Chief Secretary Pankaj Joshi, Agriculture Secretary Manish Bhardwaj, Finance Secretary (Expenditure) Manisha Chandra, Co-operation Secretary Nalin Upadhyay as well Regional Director of the Reserve Bank of India S.K. Panigrahi, Convener of SLBC Bansal And other officers joined on the occasion.
