He said that the Border Development Festival – Vikasotsav has been launched from the land of Kutch with the objective of inculcating social responsibility related to border security among the people in the rural areas of the country as well as preventing migration across the borders, developing border villages and making patriotism alive among the people. Marginal Development Festival is an ongoing series and in the coming days this Development Festival will also be held in various border areas of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and I will personally visit all the borders associated with the land of the country and monitor this development festival – Vikasotsav program. Stating that the borders cannot be truly protected unless the people of the rural areas living near the border become aware of the issue of border security, Home Minister said that the borders of the country and the state are equal to the mother’s territory. It is the duty of every citizen to protect it. Then there is the internal security of the country or the international security. The country cannot move forward unless the internal security of the country is strong and that is why the Prime Minister has acted in a way that no one can enter in country and with determination to unify the borders of the country.

Along with this, the government is also thinking for the development of Narayan Sarovar, said the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that in order to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in the villagers near the border of Gujarat, a major project of Seema Darshan has been undertaken at Nadabet.

The Chief Minister also expressed the name of making the borders of Gujarat more convenient as well as making the borders more secure with the overall development of the border villages to create awareness among the people.
