Gandhinagar : All services of RTO are available on Mobile Application, said transport minister R.C.Faldu. Transport Minister R.C. Faldu said that in order to realize the dream of Digital India of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the son of Gujarat and the inspiration of all of us, all the RTO related services of the state have been made available online to the citizens through Sarti 4.0 and Vahan 4.0 application. The number of such applications is more than 1 crore every year. Learning license allotment procedure started in 221 ITIs instead of 36 RTOs and this service has been availed by 2.5 lakh applicants. A total of 17 services related to additional vehicle and essence provided without the presence of the applicant have been started. As a result, an estimated 45 lakh people have been exempted from having to visit the RTO office every year. Transport Minister Faldu further said that November 14, 2019 has proved to be a historic day for the Transport Department under the guidance of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. On this day three historic decisions were made keeping in view the demands of expectations for the citizens of the state.

Abolition of checkposts in the state, issuance of learning licenses process made available in in 221 ITIs and 29 polytechnics. Which has proved to be a historic step towards civic interest of the state government. The Minister added that it is the achievement of our government to make every district of the state a state-of-the-art and well-equipped RTO office available to the citizens. New RTO offices will be constructed at Dahod, Bhavnagar, Dang and Godhra this year. Not only that, the government has decided to create a new driving test track so that the applicants do not have to wait for the driving test and the process remains transparent. Regarding the implementation of online e-Chalan, the Minister said that with the abolition of checkposts in the state, the process of creating online memos on e-chalan application has been started instead of the system of creating manual memos. According to which the total number of e-memos created in digital form is 10.50 lakhs. Which has resulted in operational efficiency, transparency and process of corruption free practices. In which the expenditure of time and energy has been reduced. ST Corporation has covered 99.34 % villages of Gujarat through public transport service. Modern AC coach buses like Volvo, Slipper Coach have been serving passengers for the last several years without any increase in fares.
