Bengaluru: Electric two-wheeler maker Ather Energy will unveil its first EL platform scooter at Ather Community Day 2026, marking the company’s entry into India’s mass-market electric scooter segment. The flagship event will take place on 29 August 2026 in Bengaluru under the theme “A New Dawn of Magic.”
The company will also introduce new technologies, charging solutions, and ownership features designed to enhance the overall customer experience.
New EL Platform to Drive Future Growth
The EL platform represents Ather’s first all-new scooter architecture since the launch of the Ather 450. The company designed the platform to improve scalability, manufacturing efficiency, and product flexibility.
The first scooter built on the EL platform will target the ₹1 lakh to ₹1.25 lakh price segment, helping Ather expand into the country’s largest electric scooter market.
The new platform will also support future electric scooters across multiple categories.
Community Day to Showcase New Innovations
Ather Community Day 2026 will bring together thousands of Ather owners, technology enthusiasts, automotive experts, and business partners.
The company plans to showcase several innovations beyond the new scooter, including advancements in connected technology, charging infrastructure, and the ownership ecosystem.

Ather Community Day has become one of India’s leading electric mobility events over the past four years.
The 2025 edition attracted more than 4,000 attendees and introduced several major innovations, including the EL platform, the Redux concept vehicle, next-generation fast-charging technology, and AtherStack 7.0.
With the commercial debut of the EL platform, Ather now enters a new phase focused on serving a larger customer base while expanding its electric mobility portfolio.
