Ahmedabad : Giving is the best practice to bring smile on the face, this is the belief of an organization, based in Ahmedabad, which is involved in social work. As the world has entered in the new year i.e. 2022, we Indians celebrated new year in a different and unique way. Festivals are the days when all of us spread joy and happiness among people. This time as Uttarayan or Makar Sankranti is the first festival which is celebrated every year and in Gujarat, Uttarayan is celebrated as a festival of giving and spreading smile. There are lots of needy people around us and on the day of Makar Sankranti lots of people initiated some donation drives to bring smile on such people. Ahmedabad based organization We-Squad Pvt Ltd, with Nikki’s Fitness studio and Just Herbals had joined hands and they came forward. Their initiative of Joy of Giving took shape and they were successful enough to bring smile on needy people. From 13th January to 15th January 2022, Saomyaa chaturvedi from We-Squad, Nikki Pereira from Nikki’s Fitness studio and Siddhi Jani from Just Herbals had distributed food, clothes, fruits, woolens and much more at different places of ahmedabad, Gujarat.

This is real joy of giving and they proved it right that giving and spreading smile, is the best policy and it also gives inner satisfaction. In this initiative, Kavita Purohit, Riya Mulchandani and Sonal jibin had helped at back end to raise funds and collecting the stuffs which were needed for this donation drive. In this 3 days campaign, even media also came forward and they also support this cause and spread these words. As on the day of Makar Sankranti, any kind of donation is really important and it is in our culture also so, “our main aim was to bring smile on the face of needy people and we also tried to donate some cloths so that they can also celebrate festival in different manner”. said Saomyaa Chaturvedi. The other objective of this three days donation drive is also to bring awareness about it among people.
