In view of the increasing case of Corona, night curfew has been imposed again in four cities of Gujarat from February 16 to February 28. These cities include Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot. However, the time of night curfew has been reduced by one hour, that is, it will now be from 12 pm to 6.00 am. In Gujarat, 247 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours, while a civilian has died. According to the state health ministry, the total number of cases in the state so far has increased to 2,65,244. At the same time the total number of dead increased to 4401. Earlier, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has also been found to be corona infected. Vijay Rupani fainted on stage while addressing a rally for the upcoming civic elections in Nizampura area of ​​Vadodara on Sunday after which he was rushed to Ahmedabad and hospitalized. First aid was given on the Rupaniko platform. Later he himself appeared to descend the stage stairs. The Chief Minister was then flown from Vadodara to Ahmedabad in a helicopter and admitted to UN Mehta Hospital. The health bulletin released on Monday by the hospital states that Rupani’s sample was taken on Sunday night and sent for RT-PCR examination. The investigation report confirmed that the chief minister was infected with the coronavirus.

But the number of patients discharged in the last 24 hours was less, due to which more than two thousand active cases were increased in a day. Not only this, the cases of corona virus are also increasing rapidly in Maharashtra. Within two days, there has been a five-fold increase in cases. In the last 24 hours, 87 patients lost their lives in the country. Now the total number of active cases in the country has increased to 1,39,637 as compared to 1.32 lakhs a few days ago.
