Type of dish: Desert

Ingredients:
For firni–
1 ltr. Milk
200 grms roughly crushed peas.
6-7 tbl spoon sugar
50 grms rice (preferably Basmati rice)
2 tbl spoon ghee
½ t spoon nutmeg powder
1 t spoon vanilla essence

For saffron marbles
100 grms shredded paneer
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 tablespoon saffron dissolved in milk
1 t spoon cardamom powder

For garnishing
Chopped nuts
Rose petal

Method:
For Firni
Soak rice in water overnight. Grind it to make smooth Paste. Have ghee in a kadhai. Turn on the flame. Add crushed peas. Stir continuously. After 3 minutes, Pour milk in it. Add sugar.
When Milk starts boiling, Add Rice paste gradually. Stir continuously. Turn off the flame when mixture becomes little thick. Add nutmeg powder. And get it chilled.

For saffron marbles
Have shredded paneer in a dish. Add powdered Sugar, dissolved saffron and cardamom powder. Mix well using hand. Make small marble like balls. Get them chilled too.
Pour chilled firni in a serving bowl. Top it with saffrony marbles. Garnish with nuts & rose petals. Serve chilled.
