Parth Patel, Ahmedabad : From 18th January to 20th January, 2019, Gujarat will be witnessing the biggest summit of India. This time 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat will be held with the theme of ‘shaping a new India’. This time, with vibrant Gujarat summit, Gujarat will get another fame at the world level and that will be in the form of Shopping festival in Ahmedabad. Vibrant Gujarat summit will start from 18th January,2019.
Prime minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the function and with him Foreign Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, Finance minister Arun Jaitely and other cabinet ministers and delegates from the partner countries will grace the function. This time Prime minister Narendra Modi will be in Ahmedabad on 17th January for the inauguration at Science City.
In vibrant Gujarat summit, Global trade show will be held at helipad exhibition ground, Gandhinagar. This time vibrant Gujarat will be having 15 partner countries. On 18th January, Make in India seminar will be held at GIFT city in connection with trade summit. Chief minister of Gujarat Vijay Rupani pointed out about Gujarat and said that “gujarat is the best destination for investment in the world”. He added that a road show will be held before Vibrant Gujarat Summit. This biggest summit got very good response in foreign countries also.
Second day of the summit will be celebrated as ‘Africa Day’ and on this day, African culture will be seen at this platform. The President of Rawanda will be the chief guest on this special occasion. Under this, MSME convention and bilateral trade show will be held. 45 countries of Africa will participate in this summit. Central Government helped a lot to make this summit possbile, Rupani said.
Ahmedabad will be famous at world level because of Ahmedabad Shopping Festival which is going to be held from 17th January, 2019. It happens for the first time in Ahmedabad. This shopping festival will be for 15 days and many traders and industries will come for the benefit of the direct consumers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this Shopping Festival. CM said, the main objective of this shopping festival is to make Ahmedabad a shopping hub of Gujarat. More than 10 thousand traders will join in this new initiative. From cloths to digital equipments, everything will be sold here at a huge discounted prices. CM Rupani added that, government is working and discussing with the traders and if the idea becomes successful, Ahmedabad Shopping Festival will be open 24 hours.
As this time we have more focused on export and sustainable economy, Make in India initiative will touch new sky, CM said. This time American trade organizations and their delegations will participate in Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Gujarat Chamber of Commerce has invited Pakistan’s delegates and upon invitation, delegates of Karachi chamber of Commerce will participate this time.
With all kinds of support from other state governments and central government, Vibrant Gujarat 2019 will be a huge success, Cm Vijay Rupani said.
