Gandhinagar : It is felt that the winter season has started for the last 6 days after the half of November is over. As a result, farmers in the Gandhinagar district have also begun to plant saplings. With minimum temperatures down to 3-5 degrees, now-a-days climate is favorable for sowing, says agriculture sources. However, the acreage started with the glaze of the cold has so far reached 3,000 hectares. It has the highest number of hectares of wheat planted at 3 hectares. In the coming days, the number of acreage will increase. Farmers in Gandhinagar district had started preparations for sowing of saplings during Diwali festivals. But due to a lack of favorable cold, the farmers had to wait a long time and planted saplings from the second week of November. As a result, the area under cultivation is increasing. According to Gandhinagar District Agriculture Officer, regarding the weather conditions in the coming days, the sky will be partly cloudy, but there is no chance of rain. Also, humidity in the atmosphere is likely to be 3 to 5 percent. So it is best to plant winter crops during these days.
