Gandhinagar : Senior Citizens and Citizens who are 50 to 60 years of age but having major illness will be vaccinated from 1st March, 2021. The Deputy Chief Minister added that in the second phase of Corona vaccination, senior citizens above 60 years of age and citizens suffering from serious diseases between the ages of 50 to 60 years will be vaccinated across the country from 1st March. For this, a strong system has been set up in Gujarat as well. The Government of India has fixed the cost of Corona vaccine at a private hospital at only Rs. 150 and the administrative charge at Rs. 100, meaning that citizens who wish to be vaccinated at a private hospital approved by the health department can get a dose of the vaccine at a cost of only Rs.250. The vaccine will be given free of cost at every Government Hospitals. There will be no income limit for this. While the whole world is fighting against corona today, to protect the countrymen from corona, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made available cheap vaccine. From March 01, 2021, persons in the state above the age of 60 years and with the prescribed 20 comorbid conditions will be vaccinated. Accordingly, vaccination will be carried out at a total of 2050 government health institutions, 2520 PM-JAYs and 12 CGHS in the state. Covid vaccine will be provided free of cost at government health institutions while the vaccine charge per dose at private health institution will be Rs. 150 / – and service charge will be Rs. 100 / –

He added that as per the instructions given by the central government, next date.
