Siddhpur : Gujarat has established as a hub of education under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said chief minister Vijay Rupani at Siddhpur. On the occasion of the convocation ceremony, the Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Gujarat has more than 50 universities functioning today as a result of which Gujarat has been established as a hub of education in the entire country. The Chief Minister urged the graduates to resolve to be ready for the welfare of human beings and the country through education. The first convocation ceremony of Gokul Global University was held at Siddhpur under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. In which 305 brilliant students were awarded Gokul Foundation Gold Medal and Degree by various dignitaries including Chief Minister Rupani and Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama. The Chief Minister said that the best educational tradition-culture in India has been established since ancient times. The ashram of sages in Siddhpur was a university. In those days, the princes of kings used to come to the ashram to seek education. Graduation is not necessarily a ritual. He added that one has to think about how to be dedicated and useful for the nation by cultivating the price of happiness and sorrow for all. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that Diksha means to start one’s career with the determination to help others. The welfare of mankind has been at the center of Indian education. When India is going to become self-reliant under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister said that with the implementation of the new education policy in India after years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it is imperative that today’s youth has become job givers and not job seekers through Make in India, Startup, Skill India, Digital India. He said that earlier there were only 4 universities in Gujarat under the Congress rule whereas today Gujarat hub of education has been established through more than 50 universities. Gujarat students do not have to go out for study. Many universities like IIT, IIM, AIIMS, Marine, Railway, Agriculture, Defense, PDPU, Tribal are functioning in Gujarat under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. World class universities are still available in Gujarat in the same way that ancient universities like Takshshila and Nalanda used to be in India. Under Study in Gujarat, 10,000 students from abroad are studying in Gujarat. We have to bring back the heritage of Vallabhipur, Vadnagar and Lothal. Congratulating the Gold Medalist and Graduate Students, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that the 20th SSIP Center for Innovation and Startup at Gokul Global University has been inaugurated by the Chief Minister today which is very commendable. On this occasion, MP Bharatsinh Dabhi, Rajya Sabha MP Narhari Amin, MLA Asha Patel, BJP state general secretary K. C. District Collectors of Patel, Patan and Banaskantha, Chancellor Vedavyas Dwivedi, various dignitaries, professors as well as graduating students were present.
